Data Collection Methods: Researchers use various methods to collect data, such as surveys, experiments, observations, interviews, or archival research. The choice of data collection method depends on the research question and the nature of the variables being studied.

Data Analysis: Once the data is collected, it needs to be analyzed to draw meaningful conclusions. This may involve statistical analysis, qualitative coding, or other analytical techniques depending on the nature of the data.

Validity and Reliability: Research design should include measures to ensure the validity (the extent to which the study measures what it claims to measure) and reliability (the consistency and stability of the research findings) of the results.

Ethical Considerations: Researchers must consider ethical issues such as informed consent, confidentiality, and minimizing harm to participants in the research design.

The development of an on-the-job training program on Creating Online Classrooms for Teachers in an International School in Thailand

3. RESEARCH OBJECTIVES

To develop a comprehensive training program on creating highly efficient online classrooms for teachers.
To evaluate the effectiveness of the training program in improving teachers' competency on creating highly efficient online classrooms at an International School.

4. CONCEPTUAL FRAMEWORK

This research aims to develop a training program for teachers to enhance their online classroom management skills. The program will be guided by Constructivist Theory, Adult Learning Theory, and the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), incorporating modern educational technologies and strategies for efficient online teaching. The framework involves training design, program implementation, and evaluation of teacher competency before and after the program.

5. RESEARCH SCOPE AND DESIGN

TYPE OF RESEARCH
Developmental research using a mixed-methods approach (qualitative and quantitative).

SAMPLING DESIGN: population or target group
The target population includes teachers working in an international school in Thailand who are required to manage online classrooms.

MEASUREMENT DESIGN: variables, tools, and data collection

Variables: Teacher competency in online classroom creation (pre- and post-training).
Tools: Surveys, interviews, classroom observations, and competency tests.
Data Collection: Surveys and interviews conducted before and after the training program to evaluate effectiveness. Observation data will also be collected during the training program.

5.4 STATISTICAL DESIGN: statistics, statistical methods used to analyze data
Descriptive statistics (mean, standard deviation) and inferential statistics (paired t-tests) will be used to analyze the differences in teacher competency before and after the training program.
